Getting ready for debating

Dear students,
As we saw in class a quotation can trigger off a debate. I´d like you to participate in the poll so that we can start working on the proposition and the opposition.

Watch the trailer of the movie "The Debaters" and get ready to discuss it in class.

What´s a debate?

According to the Cambridge dictionary, a debate is serious discussion of a subject in which many people take part.
In this course we will learn more about this "serious discussion" and put all that into practice in our Interhouse Debating Competition.
